DEFINITIONS & SOURCES

How to read the dashboard

Revenue & adoption

Revenue measures collected protocol network fees from swaps, Boost and lending. LP, broker, gas, egress and State Chain transaction fees are excluded. Revenue and adoption data are collected directly from Chainflip through BCV Finance validators.

Adoption counts successfully completed user swap requests over the last 12 months. Each request counts once, including dollar-cost averaging (DCA) requests, regardless of internal execution steps. Failed, refunded, expired and incomplete requests are excluded. Requests are not unique users.

Supply & valuation

LTM means the last 12 months. Revenue yield = LTM revenue ÷ (total FLIP supply × 100-day EMA FLIP price). EMA is an exponential moving average; it smooths short-term price changes. Revenue yield is a valuation ratio, not staking APY.

Supply is measured at month end. The 12-month net supply change compares it with the same month one year earlier. Figures are rounded for display.

Operator concentration

Shares measure authority slots, not stake. Operators are grouped by onchain associations where available and otherwise classified manually. “Others” combines smaller operators.

Supermajority concentration is the smallest number of operators whose combined slots reach two-thirds of the authority set. Operators are ranked by slot count; the required slot count is rounded up to a whole number.
